Booking software for boat charters.

A trip only runs when the boat, the captain and the weather all line up. Your booking system should check them together, not just look for an open slot.

What it fixes

Two parties showed up for the same boat.

Trips by boat and departureMorning, afternoon, sunset or full-day trips, and a full day blocks the half days inside it.

A captain got put on two boats at once.

Boats and captains checked togetherA trip needs a free boat and a free captain, so the conflict gets caught when you book it.

A party of eight booked a six-passenger boat.

Passenger limits per boatEach boat carries its own limit, and the booking stops at it.

A 5am weather call turns into thirty text messages.

Weather-day toolsCall off a departure, see everyone on it and rebook or refund them under your own policy.

Deposits live in payment apps and notes.

Deposits tied to the tripDeposits and refunds through a hosted checkout, recorded against the trip they belong to.

The engine is in the shop and the calendar doesn’t know.

Service blocksTake a boat off the schedule for as long as the work takes.

Built on working software

The rule underneath this is already built. In the Piney Grove reservation app, a lot can only belong to one reservation each night, and the database enforces it. A boat and a departure time work the same way.

For a charter business, captains, passenger limits and weather days all work around that same rule.

Questions you might have

Can half-day and full-day trips overlap?

They can’t on the same boat, and that’s the point. A full-day booking blocks the half days inside it, and a half-day booking blocks the full day.

Does it work for shared trips as well as private charters?

Yes. Private charters take the whole boat, and shared trips count seats until the boat is full. You’d set which trips work which way.

Can I keep selling through booking marketplaces?

It depends on what each one allows. I’ll check during discovery, so you know how those bookings would reach your calendar.

When should I buy something instead?

If you mostly want to sell shared trips online and through marketplaces, a booking platform such as Xola or Roverd may be the better buy. Custom makes sense when your fleet, crew or pricing doesn’t fit their boxes.

I’ll tell you plainly if that’s the better choice for you.

Tell me how your bookings work.

Rough is fine. You’ll get a straight answer on whether custom software makes sense.
